Ayurvedic Methods

Ayurveda, meaning “science or knowledge of life,” is a 5,000-year-old ancient healing tradition originating from Persia.

According to Ayurveda, everything in the universe—including humans—is composed of five elements:

R

Space

R

Air

R

Fire

R

Water

R

Earth

These elements form the tridoshas: Vata, Pitta, and Kapha. Achieving health involves balancing these doshas through diet, exercise, lifestyle changes, and meditation.

Ayurvedic Practices Include:

  • Detoxification (Panchakarma: oil massage therapies)
  • Diet (Tridosha-specific foods)
  • Herbal supplements
  • Yoga and meditation
